Litigation and dispute support
Evidence and expert work that is consistent, sourced and ready for court or tribunal, from pleadings to cross-examination.
Evidence packs, expert reports and witness support for civil, criminal and arbitration matters.
Disputes are won on evidence. In fraud, commercial and arbitration matters, counsel need facts organised for the pleadings, expert analysis of loss and accounts, and witnesses who are prepared for what they will be asked.
We assemble evidence packs that follow the structure of the case, prepare expert reports on fraud, loss and accounts, and support witness statements and testimony. When the other side files its own expert evidence, we analyse it and help counsel respond.
Because BDI also runs investigations, digital forensics and asset tracing, the evidence in a dispute can be gathered, analysed and presented by one team, under one chain of custody.
A civil, criminal or arbitration matter needs evidence, expert analysis or witness preparation.

Questions clients ask before we start.
Can BDI give expert evidence?
BDI professionals can give expert evidence within their expertise. Independence is agreed at the start, and an expert's duty is to the court or tribunal, not to the party that appoints them.
Do you work with our lawyers or instead of them?
With them. Counsel lead the strategy and the case. We provide the evidence, analysis and expert work they need.
Can the work support arbitration as well as court?
Yes. Reports and evidence are prepared to the procedural rules of the forum, whether a court or an arbitral tribunal.
